A better way to send dept. newsletters

Happy Tuesday!

We hope that you’re enjoying the summer so far and wanted to remind you about a great way to keep up with alumni and students during the semester, or over break.

In our Ways To Share Your Message guide, we share several channels for promoting your news and events. Departmental newsletters are a time-proven way to keep audiences informed about what’s happening in your department.

Some examples are our LanguagesChemistry, and SEED Wayne newsletters, among others listed in the guide above. At the college and university level, we encourage use of these branded newsletters (which work with our university listserv) over third-party services like MailChimp so that we can ensure 1) compliance with subscription permissions and data regulations, and 2) promote a uniform voice and consistency across our university branding.

For more information about our departmental newsletter options and how to get started, see our section on Departmental Newsletters.

We work with you in tandem with our Central Marketing and Communications Team to create a newsletter template suited to your needs. The setup for this is just a one-time fee (paid interdepartmentally) with no recurring monthly fee.

If you’d like to get started or have additional questions, please let us know how we can help at clas@wayne.edu.
