CLAS Communicators can now access an industry-leading web-based graphic design platform called Canva – exclusively available to CLAS departments for use in creating flyers, social media posts, book covers, signs, and much more.

We selected this tool because it makes design easy using templated but customizable styles and branding – previous graphic design experience not required. We’ve also preloaded Wayne State logos and brand colors for easy placement.

Our CLAS Marketing Team can also access your “shared folder” (at your request) to assist with design reviews and help before publishing or printing.

Canva is available for free (limited version) to individual users for personal use, however, the college has business licensed accounts available for every department. Check your email and/or here at our CLAS Marketing blog for future tutorials and demos.
