Faculty/staff profile updates: Fall 2019

In an effort to streamline our online directory, we’re introducing a standardized set of headers (or sections) that will apply to each program and departmental directory under CLAS.

Our new structure combines several headings/sections into 10 common headers as follows:

  1. Chair/Associate chair/Director
  2. Full-time faculty
    • Includes tenured, tenure-track, lecturer
  3. Adjunct faculty
    • Includes visiting faculty
  4. Emeritus
    • Includes only active emeritus
  5. Part-time faculty
  6. Academic advisors
  7. Staff
    • Includes student assistants
  8. Research staff
    • Includes Post-doc fellow, research fellows, research engineers, research associates, research assistants
  9. Clinical staff
  10. Graduate students
    • Includes graduate teaching assistants, graduate research assistants, Ph.D. students

Only the 10 headers above will be visibly listed in the CLAS online directory. Previous headers/sections have been merged into the parent header/section as indicated above.

Faculty and staff are still allowed to specify their specific title(s) within their individual profile (what appears below your picture and name).

To update your faculty/staff profile, visit cms.wayne.edu and click on Profile.

To submit personnel additions/deletions or section changes for your departmental/program directory, please complete the CLAS faculty/staff directory change request form. Note: The CLAS Marketing Team does not update the content of individual faculty/staff profiles, i.e. pictures, CV, bio, etc.
