My life would be completely different given being a different person. As a trans woman, I have been known to fantasize about a different life, one where im either not trans or born as a woman. This is not a unique thing as many different transgender individuals fantasize about this. While this is not unique in the trans community, reflections upon this have made me realize over time that I do like being transgender, for all its hardships and setbacks. The people I have met and the experiences ive had have made me glad to be trans. While this is true, there is also another part of me that fantasizes and yearns for a cisgender childhood I never had. As a woman, I would have had a completely different childhood, and would have been set off on a completely different path. In high school, and grade school, I probably would have been more popular. I would have played different sports, listened to different music, talked to different people, etc.
