It would have been bantered in the 40s,
When the lives of our Jewish Brothers and Sisters,
Were stolen.
Resistance is justified when people are occupied,
Unless they are of Arab-descent,
Or read the Quran,
Or grow olives,
Or have tinted skin.
Resistance is justified when people are occupied,
Unless the resistor is marginalized,
And the occupier is socially victimized,
Our Arab identities, histories, and countries have been terrorized, unjustly, even though we are occupied
