Research Interests
- Computational and theoretical condensed matter and materials physics
- Advanced multiple-scale modeling methods across microscopic, mesoscopic, and continuum scales, for the study of complex structural and dynamical phenomena and the underlying mechanisms in solid and soft spatiotemporal systems
- Applications of the multiscale models developed to the research of materials growth, evolution, and processing, system elasticity, plasticity, and topological defects, and nonequilibrium phenomena in complex pattern or nanostructure formation
- Theory, modeling, and simulation of active matter and living systems that are intrinsically out of equilibrium
