Gozde Alper
Graduate Student
Gozde received her BS in physics engineering from Ankara University in Turkey. She is currently a second-year master student in Geology at Wayne State University and will be graduating this May. As a result of her studies and work experiences, she is interested in micro-plastic contamination and how micro-plastics affect environment especially marine environment in terms of heavy and radioactive elements. Nowadays micro-plastics are everywhere, and people and animals are exposed to micro-plastics being unaware of them. She believes that if we have human being decrease of anthropologic effects such as micro-plastics and plastics, human life and ecologic life will be safe and we will protect our future.
