The Linz group is designing new biotechnology to facilitate research on pressing issues that impact human health. The novel bioanalytical strategies under development in our lab are being used to study fundamental biological processes involved in disease pathogenesis. Our results elucidate biomedical information that will ultimately help improve patient care and the overall health of society.
Ongoing projects in our lab utilize lab-on-a-chip devices to investigate:
- Early-stage cancer diagnostics
- Non-invasive diabetes monitoring
- Bacterial signaling in environmental waters
- Pharmaceutical drug screening
The Linz Lab is always looking for bright and motivated young scientists who aspire to become leaders in industry or academia.
