Both peregrines were sighted on the clock tower of Old Main early this morning. While I haven’t entirely lost hope in their potential nesting yet, it may not occur this year. This is not unusual with new couples, not unlike humans.

The pair are definitely making good use of the spring migration, though. This Wednesday they shared another killdeer. The remains are starting to make it to the ground, so I’ll be able to watch the webcam and peruse the area around the clock tower to get an idea of what, and how well, they are eating. I’ll keep you posted, and you can let me know if you see anything interesting as well!
