The annual Wayne State Popular Culture Conference is co-hosted by several organizations, including Kino Club 313 (a film & media studies group), the Wayne State Comics Collective, and the Warrior Gaming Group. We have also received logistical and financial support from the Humanities Center Pop Culture Working Group, the English Department, Wayne State Libraries, and many other generous individuals, departments, and organizations across the university.
As a student-organized, student-led, and student-centered event, this conference relies on financial support from our Dean of Students Office. This is how we are able to offer a high-quality public event for free each year!
