Rebecca is a clinical psychology doctoral student at Wayne State University under Dr. Chris Trentacosta.

Rebecca leads age 9 home visits, MRI scan visits, and manages the Tooth Fairy Project, which collects naturally shed baby teeth to study children’s environmental exposures. She also coordinates communication with families to support data collection and engagement.

Her current research focuses on returning individual research results (RIRR) to families in developmental and environmental health studies. She is especially interested in ethical, accessible ways to share personalized lead exposure findings with moms in Detroit. 

Rebecca is committed to bridging research and community by promoting transparency, reciprocity, and trust – ensuring participants are recognized and informed in ways that support their health and well-being.
