Sophia Martell
Sophia is a junior working towards a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A in Anthropology. She is on our BDS-SA – 9 year old data collection team. She plans to graduate May 2026.

Grace Wingate
Grace is a senior working towards her B.S in Psychology and minoring in Nutrition and food science. Her research interests include integrating mental health into religion and child development. She is on our BDS-SA – 9 year old data collection team.

Farrah Al-Aowad
Farrah is a senior working towards a B.S. in Neuroscience. She is on our BDS-SA – 9 year old data collection team, and plans to graduate May 2026.
Coding Team

Zawadi Mwangale
Zawadi has her Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in business administration. Zawadi is coder for Jessica Elezi’s dissertation project. She graduated in May 2024. She loves music and enjoys doing ceramics in her free time.

Amruta Kuthe
Amruta has a B.S. in Honors Psychology with a minor in Humanities and graduated in December 2024. She is a coder for our graduate student Jessica Elezi’s dissertation project.

Iman Rizwan
Iman is a senior at WSU and has a high school and associates degree from Oakland Community College. She is coder for Jessica Elezi’s dissertation project. She plans to become a school psychologist and later on, a professor at a university teaching family and child behavior. Iman enjoys to crochet, draw, and cook in her free time!

Sadie Wojtowicz
Sadie is a senior at WSU and plans to get a Master’s in Psychology. She hopes to become a therapist and learn more about parent-child relationships, lifespan development, and youth psychology. She is a coder and transcriber for Dr. Beeghly. Sadie loves to bake and go to concerts!

Kayla Adams
Kayla is currently a sophomore at WSU with a psychology major and criminal justice minor. Her goal is to apply to graduate school for psychology to become a behavioral psychologist and continue doing research. She is a coder for Emma DeGeorge‘s disseration project. Kayla likes to sing and read in her free time!

Valerie Koumlyk
Valerie is a junior at WSU and studying psychology and business management. She is a coder for Emma DeGeorge‘s disseration project. Her research interests lie in understanding human development particularly the cognitive, emotional, and social changes that occur during adolescence. She hopes to pursue graduate studies in psychology, developing her research skills and working towards a career that combines scientific inquiry with meaningful social impact. Valerie is bilingual in English and Ukrainian, and in her free time enjoys reading, skiing, and working out. She is also on the eBoard for PSI CHI organization.
