The short answer to your question is that there are 2 dietary choices you can make that will have the greatest impact. First, avoid wasting food. There are so many ways to do this, but the first step is to avoid overbuying in the first place. After that, learning how to utilize leftover food and how to dispose of food properly are also highly important. Second, shift to a more plant-based diet. Not entirely plant-based (though that would be great for the environment), but limit the amount of animal foods you eat. This is more about land and resource management than anything else.
