As a Humanities Clinic intern, I had the opportunity to working with Henry Ford Health System and MotorCities National Heritage Area. At Henry Ford, I learned how to develop a social media marketing campaign to promote the Family Medicine Residency program. For Motorcities National Heritage Area, I worked on an oral history project, “Making Tracks in Auto the Industry,” that collects and archives the stories of African American communities in the auto industry.  At both organizations, I gained experience collaborating with community partners that will enhance my future work as a scholar in the field of communication.
