A heartfelt shout-out to our students for their amazing achievements in our Italian courses!

On April 30, 2020 we recognized our best students not only for their performance in class, but also for their fantastic ability to quickly and successfully adjust to the emergency remote delivery of our classes!

I am the director of the Italian Language Courses and a Senior Lecturer. I have been teaching Italian since 1991. I came at Wayne State in 2010 and since then I developed and taught language, culture and literature courses. My main area of research is Second Language Acquisition and I am working on the integration of technology in the classroom to stimulate and optimize teaching and learning.
