Not much to report this week yet. There has been a regular “changing of the guard” each day as the falcons swap brooding duties. As the time gets closer for the eggs to hatch, the female will take over exclusive control, so keep on eye on the male (hopefully!) bringing food.

One note of interest – a few more meal scraps have showed up around the front of Old Main. The leg of what was likely a Common Gallinule last week, a woodcock wing and a woodpecker head (Northern Flicker, from what I can tell is left of it). That means two things – migration is in full swing, and the peregrines are eating well!
