  • August 2024: Wayne State-led research helps uncover therapies for Barth Syndrome’s deadly cardiac and skeletal effects.

Wayne State Professor Miriam Greenberg and two collaborators from University of Pittsburgh and Columbia University will lead a drug search to treat Barth Syndrome, a genetic disorder causing severe heart and muscle issues that can drastically limit quality of life or lead to early death.
