Dr. Zhuqing Liang publishes yet another article detailing the complex interplay between cardiolipin and pyruvate dehydrogenase! This research details a new mechanism whereby cardiolipin-deficiency leads to decreased pyruvate dehydrogenase activity through the genetic regulation of pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 4.
