Research Findings

Our WSU-GEARS team has produced reports on three barriers for women and under-represented faculty: hidden and- uneven workload, work/family/life challenges, and toxic work environment.

Learn about the ways that hidden and uneven workload affects faculty in our Workload Minibrief from April 2024.

Examine faculty work/family/life challenges in the Work/Family/Life Minibrief and the Work/Family/Life executive summary from November 2023.

We report our findings related to a toxic work environment– and discuss our Bystander Leadership Workshop– in our Toxic Work Environment MiniBrief.

More research findings are available at our Reports page.
